Fondmetal Recovers 99% of Water with a New, Zero Liquid Discharge Water Treatment Plant Monica Fumagalli ipcm®
A rare example of effective environmental policy in the alloy wheel manufacturing sector: Fondmetal is beginning to reap the rewards of its investment in a new, zero liquid discharge water treatment installed a year ago by Verind, a company of the Dürr Group. Some figures: 99% of recovered water, 91% less liquid concentrates to be disposed of, and sludge reduced by 77%.
