Gibb & Schmid to Compete in US Senior Open June 23-26, 2022 | Saucon Valley Country Club Bethlehem, Pennsylvania – Judd Gibb of Hanson’s Custom Golf and Jeff Schmid of Brown Deer Golf Club competed in the US Senior Open on June 23-26, 2022 at Saucon Valley C.C. (Old Course) in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Gibb’s first round he carded bogeys on holes 2, 4, 5, 7, 11, 13 and 14 including a double bogey on hole 9. Gibb’s second round he carded birdies on holes 1, 5, 8 and 16; bogeys on holes 3, 4, 9, 11, 13, 14 and 18 including double bogeys on holes 2 and 10. Gibb’s two-round total was 80-78=158, +16. Gibb missed the 36-hole cut. Schmid’s first round he carded birdies on holes 6 and 18 including bogeys on holes 3, 4, 7, 9, 16 and 17. Schmid’s second round he carded birdies on holes 1, 9 and 11. Schmid’s third round he carded birdies on holes 9 and 10; bogeys on holes 3 and 14 including a double bogey on hole 5. Schmid’s final round he carded an eagle on hole 5; birdies on holes 10, 13 and 18 including bogeys on holes 4, 9, 11, 14, 16 and 17. Schmid’s fourround total was 75-70-73-72=290, +6 and finished T33 place. Great Job to both Gibb and Schmid!
