2021 PGA Professional Championship PGA Golf Club | April 25-28, 2021 Port St. Lucie, Florida – The Iowa PGA has seven Iowa PGA Professional’s competing in the 2021 PGA Professional Championship on April 25-28, 2021 in Port St. Lucie, Florida at the PGA Golf Club. Chad Proehl of Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course, Jeff Schmid of Brown Deer Golf Club, Tracy Vest of Blue Top Ridge, Ben Montgomery of Airport National Golf Complex, Darin Fisher of The Preserve on Rathbun Lake, Judd Gibb of Hanson’s Custom Golf.
Darin Fisher Fisher’s first round he carded birdies on holes 1 and 7 including bogeys on holes 3, 4, 9 and 15 which placed him tied for 88th place. Fisher’s one-day total 37-37=74, +2 on the Wanamaker Course. His second round he carded birdies on holes 2, 6 and 14; a bogey on hole 12 and a double bogey on hole 3 which placed him tied for 36th place going into the third round. Fisher’s two-day total 74-70=144, +1. His third round he carded birdies on holes 6, 12, 14 and 16; bogeys on holes 5, 7, 9, 10, 13 and 18 including a double bogey on hole 3 which placed him tied for 54th place going into the final round. Fisher’s three-day total 74-7076=220, +5. His final round he carded birdies on holes 7, 10, 13 and 16 including bogeys on holes 1 and 15 which placed him tied for 29th place. Fisher’s four-day total 74-70-76-70=290, +3.
Sean McCarty McCarty’s first round he carded birdies on holes 11 and 13 including bogeys on holes 4, 6, 14 and 17 which placed him tied for 88th place. McCarty’s one-day total 38-35=73, +2 on the Ryder Course. His second round he carded birdies on holes 1, 3, 13 and 15; an eagle on hole 7 and bogeys on holes 10 and 12 which placed him tied for 10th place. McCarty’s two-day total 73-68=141, -2. His third round he carded birdies on holes 15 and 16 including bogeys on holes 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11 and 14 which placed him tied for 40th place going into the final round. McCarty’s three-day total 73-68-77=218, +3. His final round he carded birdies on holes 2 and 12; bogeys on holes 8, 10 and 14 including a double bogey on hole 3 which placed him tied for 48th place. McCarty’s four-day total 73-68-77-76=294, +7.
