Cold plasma technology — a glass electrode is filled with noble gas to form ozone, which is particularly good at sanitising red, irritated skin and its impurities

SKIN DISINFECTION — SANITISE, ACTIVATE AND REVITALISE

Treatment with IONTO-PLASMA Light (cold plasma technology) stimulates blood flow to the skin, shrinks tissue and also disinfects. The IONTO-PLASMA Light rod can be placed on the affected area immediately after impurities have been removed. The ozone produced very gently disinfects and prevents inflammation. The roller electrode can be used over large areas, e.g. on the back or cleavage area.

Promotes natural vascular training for muscles and tissue by opening and contracting follicles and also soothes, ideal after eyebrow and upper lip waxing.

COOLING AND STIMULATING — VASCULAR TRAINING

The heating mode of the IONTO ICE & HEAT can significantly increase the effect of the preparations used. The blood flow is stimulated and the metabolism is activated. When in cooling mode, however, vessels react naturally by momentarily constricting and blood flow subsequently becomes more intense. The gentle, velvety cleansing foam does not disintegrate immediately and consists of carefully-selected surfactants which are kind to skin, cleansing it thoroughly and gently.

The facial toner is specifically designed to restore the skin's natural pH value as quickly as possible after cleansing or peeling. It helps preserve the skin's natural protective barrier.

After cleansing, add 1-2 pumps of the facial toner to a cotton pad and spread generously over the face.

After one of our fruit acid peeling treatments: repeat the process twice. Make sure that every area of skin which had the fruit acid peel applied is sufficiently wetted with neutralising toner. Then thoroughly rinse skin with water by wiping over with a moist compress or sponge.

Shake the product, apply 1-2 pumps of foam to moist palms and then apply to the face. Wipe off thoroughly with a warm compress or cosmetic sponge.

These products are based on substances known to the skin, composed of active ingredients that are largely produced by the body itself or are even components of the skin itself.

This is a natural, sugar-like molecule that is present between cells and produced naturally by the body. As skin ages, the skin's own hyaluronic acid production decreases and the spaces between cells become less plump. This results in a loss of the skin's viscoelastic properties. The hyaluronic acids used in the HYDRATE line are short- and long-chain and therefore have a multi-dimensional effect: while short-chain hyaluronic acid restores moisture deposits deep down, longchain hyaluronic acid settles on the skin’s surface and visibly fills in any small wrinkles caused by dryness.

UREA

Urea is able to store many times its own weight in moisture. It can therefore — in the right concentration — curb transepidermal water loss from the skin and prevent signs of dryness.

Our skin’s NMF (Natural Moisturising Factor) consists largely of amino acids. The molecule obtained from sugar cane is small and water-soluble (hydrophilic) and has a strong keratolytic (peeling) effect.

MANDELIC ACID

This substance evens out skin tone and can also successfully combat impurities.

Optimises the skin’s overall radiance: improves skin impurities, reduces the appearance of first fine lines and removes excess skin cells. Pigment alterations are minimised. Also suitable for use by customers at home.

Add 1-2 drops of the fruit acid peel into a small bowl, then apply a thin, even layer over the face with a brush. Avoid the mouth and eye areas. After 3-4 minutes, neutralise the skin with the CLEAN neutralising toner. Then cleanse with a moist compress so that any peel residue is removed and there is no longer any kind of tingling sensation on the skin.

Fine enzyme-based peeling powder for gentle yet effective removal of impurities on the skin’s surface — ensures a complexion that has been cleansed deep into the pores.

All skin typesPour a teaspoon-sized amount of powder (approx. 1 g) into a bowl and add the CLEAN vial, CLEAN toner or a little water. Use a brush to mix and create a lather. Massage in the peel for approx. 3 minutes using the IONTO-Peel or a similar massaging scrubber. Then rinse and remove with a compress, cosmetic sponge or lukewarm water and neutralise with facial toner.

Back in 2003, IONTO-COMED began to think about how to create a spa-like ambiance in cosmetic treatment rooms. They wanted to develop a wellness-style chair so customers could relax as if in bed when receiving their treatment. The result: mattress-standard upholstery and ground-breaking reclining adjustability. Innovative extra features, such as Soundmotion and lighting, have then gone on to be added since its inception. Designed in spa style and featuring a large base for stability, the wellness treatment chairs are ideal for massages and both holistic and cosmetic face and body treatments.

They’ve also been released in different designs and for a variety of treatment room concepts.

Our IONTO-SPA Sensity is one of its kind in the world. When it came to developing this range, we had a clear goal in mind: "to get away from having a variety of different chairs and move towards having one chair that allows variety in itself."

We used our wealth of experience to start with the design from scratch and question everything we had previously taken for granted. Life demands a lot from us nowadays: we have to process a lot in a short space of time both in and outside of work, and we often have to perform complex tasks at a fast pace. If we’re permanently tense and don’t take the time to relax, we can become physically exhausted due to the constant release of stress hormones, which is the first sign of pot ential burn-out or depression.

USE MUSIC TO CREATE HARMONY WITHIN

The basis of every successful wellness concept is listening to what the body needs. The body, by nature, is a complex system made up of different rhythms: from the lightning-fast reactions of the nervous system, to your heartbeat and breathing, through to the alternation between sleeping and waking, the frequencies of bodily processes are organised according to the same harmonic principles as music. However, these rhythms, dependent on each other for harmony, are sensitive and can be disrupted.

Not only can you hear music with your ears, but you can also "feel" it on your skin and let it flow throughout your whole body. The bass, in particular, can be felt through vibrations both on your body and inside it too. IONTO-Soundmotion divides the sound spectrum and transmits the relevant parts of the music to special vibration generators, which translate sounds into vibrations and oscillation patterns, creating a brand-new musical experience.

FIND THE OPTIMAL SETTING

Music is transmitted to the chair via cable or Bluetooth, from an MP3 player, mobile phone or tablet, for example. The volume and intensity of the associated vibrations can then be controlled either via a control panel attached

→ IONTO Soundmotion technology plays music via the chair’s built-in head speakers and translates it into vibrations across the entire chair, relaxing and regenerating the body with long-lasting effects. HYGIENIC SURFACES

In the fields of cosmetics and podiatry and in clinical settings, demands are high when it comes to hygiene. For this reason, the material developed for the work surfaces on CUBUS series products does not give bacteria, fungi or microorganisms anywhere to attack or grow. The DIN-tested, certified mineral surface is extra robust and easy to clean too. It’s impossible for germs to stick to it and it’s also able to withstand chemicals.
