Summary of the president’s message
The Sunday Bible School on February 16th, 2025, was held live, directly from the Communications Center of the Maranatha Christian Church, Vila Velha, Espírito Santo, with the participation of pastors Gedelti Gueiros, Gilson Sousa and Josias Junior.
Message from pastor Gilson Sousa:
We greet all our brethren with the peace of the Lord Jesus! We are starting the Sunday Bi-
ble School. The subject to be presented is the book of Revelation: the message of the Holy Spirit resonates in the midst of the Faithful Church, in relation to the prophetic markers that are being fulfilled in our day, in the preparation of the Church for the rapture.
Pastor Gilson Sousa presented the answers given by various brethren to the questions posed, as well as various experiences and testimonies.

Reading Matthew, chapter 13, verse 8, we see, prophetically,
the first outpouring of the Holy Spirit. When did this experience take place and where was the Word?
Answer: S: At Pentecost. The Word was in the revelation that was transmitted by the Apostles to the Church.
“But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.” Matthew 13:8

Reading Matthew, chapter 13, verse 44, we see, prophetically, the second outpouring of the Holy Spirit. When did this experience happen and where was the Word?
Answer: At the time of the Protestant Reformation. The Word was in the discovery of the treasure that was hidden in a field, through the 4 principles of the Reformation of the 15th century.
1º - The primacy of faith over works - Ephesians 2:8-9 – The just shall live by faith– Hebrews 10:38.
2º - The universal priesthood of the believer - I Peter 2:5 e 9.

Reading Revelation, chapter 2, verse 1 and chapter 3, verse 1, compared with Joel 2:23, identify the prophetic figure in the Old Testament that points to the two moments of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
Answer: Former rain: prophetic figure of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the church at its beginning to sow the seed of the Word. Latter rain: prophetic figure of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the church in its last days to ripen the fruit for the harvest.

se there are resources are at our disposal: the Revealed Word, the spiritual gifts, the church body of Christ, the baptism with the Holy Spirit, the cry for the blood of Jesus. We are, therefore, a strengthened church. And in this hour, everyone will decide about their own life because the time is coming.
Message from pastor Edson Gueiros:
Peace of the Lord to all. We are in the prophetic period of Sardis. Later, we will talk about the time of Philadelphia.
The revival began around 1729 by the Wesley brothers (Charles and John Wesley) in England. He and other students began to pray and, ten years later, a great operation took place.
In the following century, we will see Finney and Moody in the United States. In Wales, Evan Roberts began meeting to pray with a group in search of a blessing for his country. He started meeting with other youth and, within six months, a hundred thousand people were converted in Wales. Journalists from London went to Wales to cover what was happening.
Another very important revival in the United States was in Azuza Street in 1906. There was a commercial building on Azuza Street that was rented by William Seymour, where the services began. Many were baptized with the Holy Spirit. This revival lasted for many years and gave rise to several Pentecostal churches around the world.
In Manchuria, China, Jonathan Goforth, a Canadian missionary, was sent. His preaching
filled the places. Repentance occurred at every service. In the towns he passed through, people went out witnessing in the street, repenting for their sins. This happened in 1908.
Also in China, a Christian general called Feng Yu Xiang converted in 1914 and evangelized. His army was baptized. Watchman Nee also came to China soon after. He was used a lot in China. They started a magazine called “The Christian”. Through this magazine, thousands of people were evangelized in China.
