Message from Pastor Gedelti Gueiros
It's important to mention the answers and videos sent in by many brethren. All of this is part of what we understand as
the Work, the body of Christ.
In this Bible School, some aspects of praise have been mentioned. Praise is the result of the history and prophetic moments that the church has experienced in all times. We sing many praises today and we have an obligation to bring them to light, reinforcing the praises that were received during the revival. When we sing these praises, we are recalling the history of the church's revival. At the same time, we
avoid hymns that are simply produced out of sentiment or with a poetic emphasis, but without a prophetic stamp. In this way, we are singing what we are experiencing.
The word “Philadelphia” means “brotherly (fraternal) love”. The word itselfplaces us in the time of what is prophetic. In Ephesus, the church lived according to the apostolic teachings, as recorded in the book of Acts of the Apostles.
“And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.” Acts 2:42
In this text, it is important to emphasize the word "Fellowship”. The word “fellowship” is key because
communion and fellowship did not happen before Pentecost. It only happened after Pentecost. Jesus left a link, the right for man to go straight to the Father. It is the coexistence of believers, with one another. This was the fellowship that needed to be re-established in Philadelphia. It was communion in the Holy Spirit. It wasn't ecumenism. In the church it was the operation through the body of Christ. If there is no understanding of Jesus' sacrifice and resurrection, there is no fellowship.
What happened in Ephesus happened again in Philadelphia. Therefore, for the moment that the church is living, fellowship is essential.
sacrifice. When that happens, man loses his blessing.
“Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.” John 5:18
“I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.” Revelation 2:9
“You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallenfrom grace.” Galatians 5:4
The early church was fighting against those who were in the synagogue of Satan. The suffering of the Work at this time is the same. We are not under the law, but under grace.
Jesus was condemned by the Pharisees for not keeping the Sabbath and claiming to be the son of God. When you put on the law, you nullify Jesus'
