Message from pastor Gilson Sousa:
We greet all our brethren with the peace of the Lord Jesus!
We are starting the Sunday Bible School. The subject to be presented is the book of Reve-

Pastor Gilson Sousa presented the answers given by various brethren to the questions posed, as well as various experiences and testimonies.

Question
Answered through video contribution
Reading Revelation, chapter 3, verses 3 and 6, identify the expression that defines the experience of the Work of the Holy Spirit in our midst, as the remnants of Sardis.
Answer: The expression is “hearing”. The Faithful Church hears the voice of the Holy Spirit.
“Remember therefore how you
have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.” Revelation 3:3
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” Revelation 3:6
Message from pastor Gedelti Gueiros:
The subject of the pearl refers to the second to last parable, described in chapter 13 of the Gospel of Matthew. But in fact, the subject that relates to Sardis is the parable of the hidden treasure.
What was inside the treasure was the pearl. The treasure was discovered in Sardis. What mattered afterwards? Knowing the pearl. To take possession of the pearl. The pearl concerns the Lord Jesus.
“You have ravished my heart, my sister, my spouse; you have ravished my heart with one look of your eyes, with one link of your necklace.” Song of Solomon 4:9 (New King James Version) In the Brazilian Bible Version (Almeida Revista e Corrigida), the end of the verse says, “with just one pearl of your necklace”.
Jesus is highlighted in the life
of the Church in the connection between the head, who is Him, and the body, which is the church.
The Word says in Revelation:
“The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication.” Revelation 17:4
Why pearls? Because the unfaithful Church (the woman in purple) has many saviors: Peter, Mary and many others. But it’s different for us. Jesus is the one and only pearl. Then, when we go to the parable, we see the man who knows a lot about pearls. Who is this man? The Holy Spirit. No one can identify this pearl of great value except the Holy Spirit. Why is that? Because only He knows how the pearl was made. There is a story in the making of the
pearl. It is produced in the depths. When the shell goes to feed, an irritant, sometimes a grain of sand, enters the shell. The oyster is unable to remove the irritant and begins to encapsulate it, making the pearl.
