Answer: The faithful church today faces the same betrayal as those inside the church at the time of the spiritual night in which religion finds itself.
“For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread [...].” I Corinthians 11:23
Message from pastor Gedelti Gueiros:
The subjects answered by the brethren have been perfect. You have to keep the teachings that are important. Everything has been made clear to the church, especially for its rapture. What has been despised by tradition, when it says that the Old Testament has nothing, has been valued by us.
What was most important in Israel’s departure from Egypt was the lamb. The lamb would be eaten differently. Before, the people were scattered in Egypt. They separated the best lamb from the flock. The lamb was cared for from an early age. The lamb lived with a family. When the family moved, the lamb would go with them. That would be the Passover lamb. It was the symbol of the Lord Jesus, prophesied in the Old Testament. In the lamb of the
Old Testament, there were two very important elements: body and blood. The same thing happens in the life of the church.
Thus, we begin to understand the meaning of the supper, which has been very broad for the time we are living in. In times past, of course, the church didn’t fully understand this meaning. But now it has been different. We have understood God’s whole prophetic purpose.
There were some guidelines about the lamb. It couldn’t be eaten raw or boiled in water.
On a daily basis, they would
take part of the lamb, boil it in water and eat it. Religion chooses what to eat from the lamb. It eats only part of the lamb. But Israel’s departure would be different. Nothing would be eaten raw or boiled in water. It had to be roasted over a fire.
“Do not eat it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roasted in fire – its head with its legs and its entrails.” Exodus 12:9
Why roast the lamb in fire? Because fire kills microbes and germs. When the meat is roasted over the fire, it loses water, the impurities, and what is left is the meat. It is a consistent
food. The whole lamb is to be eaten – the head, entrails and feet.
In the Old Testament, we see a prophetic teaching for us: it is the Lamb roasted in the fire, that is, the revelation of Jesus in all the Word. If it’s not that, it’s a waste of time, just a religion. This is what is being brought to the Faithful Church at this time. It’s the most important thing for us.
We saw all of this at the Worldwide Supper. We had an extraordinary result with many testimonies from around the world. It is a complete meal.
The Head shows us that it is everything that is in the mind of God. It’s His mind. The feet tell us about the walk of the church. The aspect of the entrails shows us the digestion that needs to be done of the teaching of the Word. It can’t simply be a conversation, a combination of verses
May the Lord Bless us.
