What's New and What's On Charity Night 7pm, Saturday 2nd March Christ the King Parish Centre, Score Lane, L16 6AW Expect live music, good food and excellent raffle prizes at this charity night, hosted by Woolton local Stephen Lennox - all to raise money for a couple of fantastic causes.

This is the third charity night Stephen’s organised in the past couple of years and, judging by the photos, he’s a fantastic host!

Stephen was diagnosed with ulcerative ulcerative colitis in 2019, which resulted in him undergoing emergency major surgery.

Seed Talks

Seed Talks describe themselves as an event company ‘dedicated to sharing interesting and worthwhile knowledge around the areas of science, psychedelics, wellness, philosophy, psychology and neuroscience’.

Talks aim to ‘plant a seed’ inside audience members, and they take place regularly in Liverpool. The next one - ADHD & Women: Misunderstood and Misdiagnosed - is Thursday 7th March at Camp and Furnace, in the city centre. A bit out of our area but it was too interesting not to share. Since getting back on his feet, he’s been raising money for Crohns & Colitis UK, and the ward that looked after him in Whiston Hospital. Let’s support him to support them!
