Tuesdays in August, the garden at Strawberry Field, Beaconsfield Road, is open for children and their parents to play, and take part in weekly themed activities.

Last edition we reported that paranormal investigations group My Haunted Project have leased Woolton Hall. Since then, South Liverpool local and founder of My Haunted Project, Harry Achilleos, has provided further information on the plans.
Harry is quoted in the Liverpool Echo as saying the Grade I-listed building was ‘in dire straits’ when his team took it over. He agreed, with the owner of the building, to install cameras and secure the site against further vandalism.
His team have now done some serious cleaning up, and are trying to bring it back to life without making structural changes. They’re in talks with planning officers, and hoping to have My Haunted Mansion open in time for Halloween.
