Akeena Rosalie Siladan, a troop leader from the Iloilo Girl Scout Council was chosen as one of the 80 National Young Achiever awardees of Girl Scouts of the Philippines last August 10, 2020 Since the girl scouting movement has been alive for the past 80 years here in the Philippines, the Girl Scouts of the Philippines conducted the search for GSP 80 National Young Achievers last 2019, with the theme: “GSP@80: One Family, One mission”. The nominations recognizes former and active Girl Scouts for their notable achievements within and outside the GSP movement as well as their continuous efforts to contribute positively to the social, economic, environmental, and cultural development of their communities and the country as a whole.
