Due to a turn of unfortunate events, many of our activities and plans were shifted to virtual ones. As we are all locked up in the comfort of our homes, the Girl Scouts of Iloilo Council found a way to continue its services, but this time, behind screens. The Ilongga Scout TV was launched by the Iloilo Girl Scout Council earlier this year. Many of you may be wondering what this is or where we can access it. The Ilongga Scout TV can be found on YouTube. With its own channel on the said social media platform, the Council has been able to showcase the girls’ works. It is a great avenue for the girls to share their projects and community works. The Iloilo Council can also keep everyone informed of its activities and achievements through this program. YouTube has always been known to many, especially to the younger generation. Because of the pandemic, its fame and popularity increased. Now, it has become a platform where individuals could even earn money.
The Iloilo Girl Scout Council is continuously widening its reach and utilizing possible resources. Ilongga Scout TV will continue to feature the wonderful doings of the girls with the hope that they can continue to inspire the community amidst any circumstances. It looks like we won’t be hearing much of those “thank you songs” but more of like, share, and subscribe!
