The Howe Bulldogs (11-8, 3-3) trailed for the last time midway through the second period. From that point, Howe put the foot on the throat of the District 11-3A winless Bonham Warriors (06). Howe took home a 39-27 road win which makes 3-straight wins in district play, this after losing 4-straight games. Howe now sits currently as the fourth seed of the playoff hunt, but is only a game behind Bells and Gunter for the number two and three seeds, respectively. Howe was led by Jacob Campbell’s 21 points and Cooper Jones’ 10 rebounds. Jones also added 10 points. Other scorers were Noah Riley (5), Austin Haley (2), and Kaleb Taylor (1).
