Texoma Patriots to hold 10-year anniversary celebration On Thursday evening, members of the Texoma Patriots will gather at the Grayson County Courthouse steps for to celebrate their 10-year anniversary. Patriotic music and speeches will highlight the evening that begins at 6 pm and finishes at 8 pm.

The Texoma Patriots says the event is a celebration of what citizens can do when they work together. They are inviting anyone and everyone. It was 10 years ago that the tea party movement began in the US. Members of our community met at the Grayson County Courthouse north entrance on April 15 to tell our government that they were tired of being taxed too much - thus, Taxed Enough Already. "People think they're just out there waving a flag, but they have to run from one side of the field to the other in a certain number of steps," said Scoggins.
