Texoma Patriots to hold 10-year anniversary celebration

On Thursday evening, members of the Texoma Patriots will gather at the Grayson County Courthouse steps for to celebrate their 10-year anniversary Patriotic music and speeches will highlight the evening that begins at 6 pm and finishes at 8 pm

The Texoma Patriots says the event is a celebration of what citizens can do when they work together They are inviting anyone and everyone

It was 10 years ago that the tea party movement began in the US Members of our community met at the Grayson County Courthouse north entrance on April 15 to tell our government that they were tired of being taxed too much - thus, Taxed Enough Already And so began the TE A Party movement locally

The Texoma Patriots held its first meeting on August 22, 2009 in Sherman It was a patriotic rally to show support for Representative Ralph Hall and supported his stand on HR 3200 The Texoma Patriots expressed their opposition to the proposed healthcare reform bill that led to Obamacare, a governmentrun healthcare system They continue to work to keep America free.
