Texoma Patriots to hear from World War II vets 77 years to the day

The topic will be, "Accounts of World War II Veterans." The meeting will take place at Buck Snort BBQ, 224 E. Jefferson St, Van Alstyne with an open buffet.

Victor Hancock joined the Army Air Corps as an Aviation Cadet while in high school. “When Truman dropped the bombs,” Victor stated, “he saved many lives.” Hancock spent another four plus years in service to our country during the Korean War. From January 1951 to June 1955 he was assigned to Goose Bay, Labrador. He left the service with the rank of Captain.
