Keep Howe Beautiful cleans up Memorial Park
Keep Howe Beautiful has been working on the Memorial Park on Denny Street. They have met twice to clean up around memorials, flower beds, picnic tables and have also planted flowers. The organization would like to give special recognition to Gene Stevens for mowing Memorial Park park for many years. Keep Howe Beautiful would also like to thank Carol Falls for donating cannas and

Howe City Councilman Bill French presided over the Board of Adjustments and asked for a motion for or against the variance to use chip and seal instead of the concrete. Sam Haigis made a motion to approve the variance and Darren Foster second the motion which passed unopposed.
