The church facility will be leased as a wedding venue, a meeting place for citizens, and other communityrelated activities, all of which will enhance and enrich the lives of Howe citizens We hope to complete the project by the summer of 2017 and with your help we can do just that
Our first major fundraising event, the Save the Church BBQ and Auction, raised more than $15,000 due to the generosity of Howe and Grayson
County contributors A local citizens group gave an additional donation of $10,505 These funds, along with other donations, have allowed us to begin restoration of the exterior and interior of the church
The next construction projects entail air conditioning, electrical, plumbing and building out a kitchen Estimates indicate that another $30,000 will be needed for these large projects
