a Steve Simmons honors America Anthem was sung by Ashlyn Ellis and Dreanna McAdams. Whitney Kirby said the invocation while Jessica Doty introduced all of the veterans. Two elementary students spoke of what Veterans Day means to them, Colton Little and Jayde Harris gave an inspiring speech. The art winners were Dreanna McAdams (first), Aspen Porter (second), and Kayla Birch (third). Veteran and Howe ISD employee Bruce Elvington presented what the folds of the flag mean. He was assisted by the Boy Scout Troop #45. The Scouts also presented the flags. The Pride of Howe played a riviting
version of "Armed Forces: Pride of America." The gym was completely decorated by the HHS cheerleaders. The National Honor Society President Nick Wilson gave opening remarks and a high accolades to all veterans, those in the audience and elsewhere.
