Summer reading 'Super Heroes' The theme for summer reading programs at the library this year is "Every Hero Has a Story." For the kick-off week, the programs for little kids on Tuesday and Wednesday made super hero capes, masks, and filled out Hero ID cards. Then they played a matching game and listened to a story about a kid that has his own super hero costume. The teen and preteen group that meets on Wednesdays started plans for holding a mini ComicCon event. They also competed in a Hero Jeopardy PowerPoint game.
10U and 8U Howe Youth Baseball AllStars announced 10U - Luke Catching, Stone Trevino, Ryan Hough, Jacob Campbell, Cooper Jones, Rowdy Kuykendall, Marshall, Larsen, Garrett Gibbs, Brice Dean, Kolin Murphy, Alternate - Kade Murphy. 8U - Logan Duty, Beaudy Kuykendall, Beau Stephens, Triston Williams, Anthony Lowder, Will Ingram, Mahlon Walker, Braden Ulmer, Parker Daniels, and Ethan Mayo.
