Ponder downs Howe, 84-68; 'Dogs still very much alive in playoff picture Ponder sophomore Chase Harris scored 30 points and teamed with junior Brady Anderson, who scored 24 to out-duel the Bulldogs, 84-68. Howe, with the loss, falls to 19-9 on the year and 7-4 in District 10-3A, which is good for third in the district and stil on pace for a playoff berth.

Michael Kehrer led the Bulldogs with 26 points. He had a three-pointer in each of the first two periods, but only scored eight points in the second half. Junior Nick Wilson contributed 19 points with the help from five three-pointers. Levi Mrozinski scored 12, which all but two came in the in second half. Other scorers were Griffin Underwood with four, Quinton Harris and Tyler Grisham with three each. Sam Akins added one. Whitesboro (23-4) will bring their 10 game winning streak to Howe on Tuesday night.
