Company Profile RYCON Constructions was founded in 2003 with the aim to deliver innovative design and construction across south east Queensland. The company Founder and Director Gerard Ryan has been in the building industry since 1988 where he started his trade as a Carpenter and Joiner, working for fourteen years in various Site Manager and Project Management roles. Gerard also holds an Associate Diploma in Building and is the licensee for RYCON Holding QBCC Medium Rise Building Licence. As one of Queensland’s leading specialist builders, RYCON Constructions strives to produce the best possible outcome for our clients and their projects by using the highest quality materials and skill expertise. Our Management Team are committed to ensuring we exceed our clients expectations by maintaining the highest level of communication and collaboration throughout the complete building process. Concentrating on small to medium commercial projects, RYCON Constructions provide two commercial services depending on our clients specific needs. We can supply a full Design and Construction service offering building design through to full building completion, or we can offer Construction Only building, where we build clients architectural or design plans to realise your dream project. The building process can be completed on a fixed price, fully detailed contract to ensure clients understand what is being delivered and most importantly knowing that clients receive what they have asked for.

Our Project Team

Building Sustainability

RYCON Constructions manage each building project with a qualified team who are carefully selected to suit each project. We consider the complexity and all project requirements to ensure our client receives the best possible experience.

Sustainability is a key consideration for every build by RYCON Constructions. We aim to have minimal impact on the environment throughout the construction phase. This is achieved by the implementation of site erosion control, dust suppression and by using recycled materials where possible whilst maintaining the required specifications.

Our Site Managers are on site full-time to ensure our buildings are built to the highest possible standards, in accordance with the documentation produced by our design and construction consultants, or our client’s designers or architects. We rely and work with a dedicated team of consultants to ensure the build process with team RYCON is first class and a seamless process. Our site team are also fully supported by our Contract Administrators to ensure communication excellence is achieved for each project. RYCON’s team culture motto is “Make It Happen”.

We also carefully dispose of waste into separate site bins so the site waste materials can be recycled, both saving the environment and reducing disposal cost. RYCON also strive to implement energy and water saving measures by introducing water harvesting techniques into our projects and by the use of drip irrigation systems into our landscaping. RYCON has a specialised team of electricians that we partner with and encourage our clients to install solar power on our projects.

Each building project is undertaken by a carefully selected team who are suited to the client, type of build and project requirements.

Project: Design and Construct project by RYCON with in-house team of consultants. Architectural design of office warehouse building with leading architects in conjunction with Compli Group Pty Ltd. Office units and showrooms with a warehouse to the rear of each unit. Sizes range from 185m2 to 450m2.

The Overflow Estate 1895 Gold Coast Housing & Construction Awards 2019 Retail Facilities up to $5 million Winner of Queensland Master Builders Award 2019

Project: Architectural designed Cellar Door and Winery by one of Brisbane’s leading architects. Constructed of Class 1 off form concrete integrated with full height glazing and natural timber from the estate, combined with seamless aluminium panelling to give a relaxed setting beside the picturesque Wyaralong Dam.
