life

At Hoburne, we have been working super hard to bring you our brand-new summer issue of our owner’s magazine. This bumper summer issue is packed filled with park updates and news, a summer recipe, plus our recommendation for summer events in the local area to enjoy over the next few months.
We love this time of year as we build up to the peak season. The park looks beautiful, thanks to our hard-working team, we have lots of owners and holidaymakers with us, and it’s fantastic seeing so many of you around the park or enjoying your holiday homes with family.
Sit back with a nice, chilled drink and enjoy our latest owner’s magazine and remember, if you have a photo or story you want to see in the magazine, drop us an email!
Hopefully you have all had the opportunity to experience our new menu. It has become increasingly important that we source our food products responsibly, using as much local fresh produce as possible and stepping away from using processed / manufactured foods.
We wanted to create an eclectic style menu with plenty of options for vegans, vegetarians, and the more health conscious. Every four months, the menu will change to reflect the seasons and to make the best use of local seasonal produce.
Please watch your speed on the park and always adhere to the limit. In these summer months, the park will begin to get busy, and the safety of all pedestrians is paramount.
As we head into the peak season, we would like to kindly remind owners who privately let that leisure passes are mandatory and so please ensure to provide your guests with this information. Guest registration forms will be required for each booking with a minimum notice of 48 hours.

Most will be aware that the park has a new interim General Manager from now until the end of the year. Neil Sykes, who also manages our sister park, Hoburne Naish, will oversee the management allowing Dave Absalom the opportunity to manage the winter refurbishment at Hoburne Bashley. Shelley Monger will remain the Park Manager and will continue with the dayto-day operation of the park as she has done previously. You can find out more about Neil in our Five Questions with Feature.
Just a reminder that access through our Lavender development is via a one-way route. Please make sure you are aware of the correct entrance/ exit while driving in this area of the park.
We are making the final touches to our new development, Rose, which will host a small collection of brand-new lodges and caravans. If you’re interested in part exchanging your holiday home, please pop in and see the ownership team.
Our outdoor pool is now open for the summer season, please ensure you’re aware of the pool opening times.
We have some team members to congratulate! Firstly, Liz has had a wellearned promotion to Head Receptionist,
and Victoria has been promoted to Assistant F&B manager. Congratulations to them both!
Some of you may have noticed Sean working behind the bar. He joined us back in April as the F&B team leader. We have also welcomed Sophie to our ownership as our new sales administrator.
Please make our new team members feel welcome if you see them around the park.
We hope everyone enjoyed the King’s Coronation weekend with us. Our street party and Royal brunch were a great success. Thank you to everyone that attended and helped us raise £1,033.62 for our 2023 nominated charity, Dorset Mind.
After finalising a deal with world-renowned company Bandai Namco, we are thrilled to announce that we have successfully upgraded several arcade machines in the complex. With updated games and more interactive fun, there is plenty to enjoy with family and friends.
Following a recent incident, we would like to remind all owners that in accordance with Park Rules, only electric scooters used to support a disability are permitted on the Park. Electric scooters used for any other purpose are not permitted on the holiday park. Thank you for your co-operation in this matter.
Our entertainment team have been working on new shows for the peak season:
Memory Lane – a decade show going through the years, starting at the 1950s going all the way to present day.
We would like to remind owners and their guests that all dogs on the park should always be under their owners’ control and on a lead. Dogs can be let off the lead in the fenced and gated exercise area only but must still be under control.
Our main car park will be busy throughout the summer months. We encourage all owners to the leisure facilities and clubhouse by foot and leave your cars at your holiday homes where possible. If you are using the disabled bays, please have your badges visible in your vehicles.
We are receiving increasing reports of rubbish and bin bags being dumped around the park and not put in designated bin bays, which causes the seagulls to split them open. Please help us to keep the park looking tidy and at its best.
Hoburne FM – The history of Hoburne, how it started to where we are now, while performing songs that relate to the history.
Our holiday homeowners had a great day for the Abby’s Heroes charity golf day at Crane Valley Golf Club, raising just over £1,000. The next charity golf day will be on September 30th.
We are delighted to welcome a new open top beach bus service running daily between Alum Chine and Hoburne Park.
