Living in Northern Quebec (SSHRC 2015-21) presents a portrait of the Innu communities of Nitassinan and Inuit villages of Nunavik. This book is meant to highlight the mostly unknown treasures of these communities: the ordinary landscapes of everyday life, and the extraordinary landscapes of breathtaking spaces. Many of these unpublished photos, words and maps translate varied perspectives that share a deep respect towards Innu and Inuit people, their culture and practices.
