Satheesh Reddy, Secretary, Department of Defence Research & Development; and Chairman, DRDO on presiding over the 11th Convocation as Chief Guest. National Conference on Recent Developments in Aerospace & Defence Technology The 70th Annual General Meeting of the Aeronautical Society of India and the National Conference on "Recent Developments in Aerospace and Defence Technology" with theme “Regional Transport Aircraft-Opportunities and Challenges” was conducted on 21 & 22 Feb. 2020. Thiru. Banwarilal Purohit, Hon’ble Governor of Tamil Nadu presided over the event as the Chief Guest and conferred awards. At the AGM held every year, eminent personalities in the realms of Aeronautics who have made a significant contribution in their field of specialization are honoured by the Society.
