Campaign Launch: London
The Palace of Westminster played host to the London Launch of Campaign 2015 – 2020 on Saturday 27 June 2015. Former pupils, donors and guests from Dundee, London, Italy and the USA enjoyed an al fresco sparkling wine and canapé reception on the Thames Terrace, followed by a gala dinner in the Members’ Dining Room of the House of Commons. With a special guest appearance and after-dinner speech by Scottish actor, theatre director, and broadcaster Richard Wilson OBE, the evening proved a truly exceptional occasion, fitting for the launch of the UK’s biggest ever independent school capital campaign. The star commended the project’s soaring vision and the School’s far-sighted leadership, commenting ‘I am all in favour of this wonderful building, and I wish it every success’, urging attendees to lend their financial support to the project.
