Pupil Reports
In this section we keep you up to date with life at the School today, featuring news and reports by and about our current pupils.
Year in View: Head Boys and Girls
Over the past year we have witnessed the incredible successes of Campaign 2015 – 2020, with various events held by The Office of Development. The School was even able to celebrate the launch of the Campaign within the former Head Post Office building itself! (see p.46)
This year we welcome eight such Interns (pictured right) who will contribute to both affinity and fundraising telephone campaigns, which last year raised over £25,000 for Campaign 2015 – 2020. In addition to this, projects involving archive digitisation, social media engagement, publicity and events support give our Interns real and relevant experience working in a professional environment. During the launch, we were privileged to be able to perform music in Cantabile and Chamber Orchestra, performing in the rooms where future pupils will have the opportunity to excel at music.
Music and performing arts are a large part of our lives, and over our years at the School we have seen an increasing demand for performance and practice spaces, and believe that the new building will open many doors for pupils in years to come. This school prides itself on recognising that every pupil has individual talents and unique potential, and the new building will highlight the School’s understanding that pupils need to have their potential in the creative subjects recognised and nurtured. The centre will encourage artistic pupils to excel at their talents, while providing the opportunity for all pupils to develop new skills and engage in creative subjects.
We are constantly amazed at the developments made within the School, and we fully believe that this latest project will further enhance the wonderful experience of being a pupil at
