Campaign Launch: Dundee

On Monday 31 August 2015, the High School invited its pupils, parents, friends and guests to celebrate the launch of Campaign 2015 – 2020 at the School’s main site in Dundee.

Standing on our iconic Pillars and flanked by torch-bearing pupils, the Rector conducted an official ceremony to welcome the former Head Post Office building into the School’s existing structure. Waving flags, pupils and guests were entertained by the fire-breathing tricks and stunts of professional performance artist Eric Latimer, before being piped through a torch-lit processional display and across a red carpet into the future centre of excellence. Once inside, themed areas hosting demonstrations and displays by the four creative disciplines lay in wait. As they toured the various themed areas, guests attended musical and dramatic performances by pupils, and contributed to the creation of a giant commemorative artwork of the School Pillars.
