FOOD MINIMUM
Members are required to spend $720 per year. The year runs from October 1 through September 30. This will be billed on a monthly statement as a $60 charge. Renters of Class A-Golf Member or Class B-Social Members are allowed to use the restaurant. The Member can receive “credit” on their account under the following conditions:
At registration the renter must present a “Transfer Member” form from the Golf or Social Member. The renter will then receive a “Transfer Member” account number to make charges to. If the Member/owner selects [YES] on the form, the Member/owner will be credited on their account for any renter’s food purchases. If an owner selects [NO], the Member/owner will not receive credit for the renter’s food purchases.
SALE OF PROPERTY
Membership expires upon closing on the property. Therefore, regardless of the date of closing, the new owner is responsible for the restaurant minimum due for the month the property is purchased.
Minimum Spending Usage
Any food purchases that a Member has during the current month that apply toward the food minimum will be deducted from the statement, not to exceed the accumulated amount of unspent minimum. The food purchased in the Dining Room, Grille Room or Snack Bar will apply to the Member’s minimum and appear on the statement. Tax gratuity do not count toward the minimum.
Unspent minimum
In any particular month, if a Member charges less than S60 on food, the Member will have a credit that can be used in future months. Example: In October you are billed $60 but actually spend $25 on food, your bill will show a credit of $25. The balance of the $60 minimum that was not used goes in your “bank account” and can be used at a future date. Note: All unspent minimums must be used by September 30.
Overspent minimum
If the Member’s level of spending in the restaurant meets or exceeds the S60 monthly minimum , then each month the Members statement will show a $60 minimum billing and then a $60 minimum usage credit that will zero each other out. If a Member overspends in the winter months and returns to a northern home in the summer, overspending will carry monthly until the amount overspent is used.
Statement Presentation
Currently our system will show you the amount you are overspent or underspent on the website. Your statement shows the amount left to spend for the food minimum year.
Houseguest Policy
Houseguests are allowed to use the restaurant and charge on the Golf or Social Member account. The Member must notify the Administration Office in advance with the Houseguests names and dates authorizing them to charge on the account. This is done as a courtesy to the Guest. Should it be abused, possible suspension of Member privileges could be incurred.

DRIVING RANGE ETIQUETTE
What you should know:
1. Distance your divots. Do not take all shots and divots in one area. It is much harder for the grass to grow if a large area is void of grass.
2. Minimize questions and commentary. The driving range is for warm up and practice. Hold your conversations for the patio or bar. This can be disruptive to others.
3. Cell phone use is not for the driving range. Take calls away from others.
4. Don’t give or take advice. Let the Professionals handle the lessons.
5. Make your practice time the off-peak times. If there is a Member event or a shotgun start please step aside to allow golfers to warm up prior to their round.
6. The dress code for the driving range is the same for the golf course. This includes juniors. NO JEANS, TEE SHIRTS, TANK TOPS, OR SHORT SHORTS.

HOW TO PLAY GOLF IN FOUR HOURS
Slow play affects everyone playing behind you. A conscious effort to play in a timely manner will make golf more enjoyable for everyone. Playing ready golf will greatly increase the speed of play and will not interfere with your fellow golfers.
• Be ready to play when it is your turn; have your club selected and ready
• Keep up with the group in front of you
• Players should watch each other’s shots to help locate the balls quickly
• Be efficient with pre-shot routines
• Take only one practice swing
• Hit your ball before helping others search for theirs
• Limit the search for any lost golf ball to 5 minutes
• No hunting balls in the environmentally sensitive area on #15
• Enter the bunkers on the low side close to your golf ball, try not to walk through the entire bunker
• Walk briskly and directly to your golf ball
• When walking to your golf ball, please take sand and an extra club so you do not have to go back to the cart
• Assist your Guests with the hole layouts, danger and yardages
• Allow faster groups to play through if you are not keeping up with the group in front
The Snowball Effect:
If each player in your foursome contributes to a 15 second delay per hole, your round of golf will take 18 minutes longer to play. Please remember that you are not the only one who is playing golf. Please pay attention to others and your time.

CHELSEA FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The computer said that that day has already been processed. If it said that, you’re probably looking for a booking, which is 1-3 days in advance. At that time, you need to press the number 5 key for a booking.
The computer said my number was invalid. Are you putting in your 5-digit number? Remember that Chelsea uses your Member number plus a 1 for the male Member and a 2 for a female Member.
What do I use for a Guest?
Your same number again. For example: If you’re a male Member, your number is 12341. You would put in 12341, then 12341 again for a Guest(s).
When I call Chelsea, the phone line is busy?
Please be patient, there are many Members that are using the system. Or you may go through the website and make your requests, edits, and bookings.
How do I change a player?
First, you have to know if it is still a request or has changed to a booking. Once you have that established, you must have your confirmation number. If it is still in the request (4-7 days), you must press #4 and if it is a booking (1-3 days) you must press #6.
How do I use Chelsea to walk?
You can request (4-7 days) nine holes after 3:00PM or use the booking (1-3 days) nine holes after 3:00PM. Please check your golf calendar for walking availability.
I was confirmed at 8:00AM and you are telling me that I have a 1:00PM tee time?
Your confirmation number is only for editing purposes. You must call back 1-3 days in advance by pressing #2 and that will give you your assigned tee time.
When I called back to confirm my tee time, the computer gave me a different name than my name? These numbers are used over once a property is sold or rented. You must call Chelsea and press number 7 to change the name greeting.
Should I use the time parameters?
In season, you should not use time parameters because that limits you to only that time. If you have a number of groups, you will have less of a chance of getting any time.
Should I break the link?
In season, YES!!!! This will give you a better chance of getting your group in.
If I am a single player, do I have to use Chelsea?
You should if you want to play at a certain time; Chelsea will put players with you.
If I don’t want to use the Chelsea system, what can I do?
Call the golf shop after 3:30PM the day before. Remember, you are taking the risk of not getting in if you do not use the system.
