FOOD MINIMUM
Members are required to spend $720 per year. The year runs from October 1 through September 30. This will be billed on a monthly statement as a $60 charge. Renters of Class A-Golf Member or Class B-Social Members are allowed to use the restaurant. The Member can receive “credit” on their account under the following conditions:
At registration the renter must present a “Transfer Member” form from the Golf or Social Member. The renter will then receive a “Transfer Member” account number to make charges to. If the Member/owner selects [YES] on the form, the Member/owner will be credited on their account for any renter’s food purchases. If an owner selects [NO], the Member/owner will not receive credit for the renter’s food purchases.
SALE OF PROPERTY
Membership expires upon closing on the property. Therefore, regardless of the date of closing, the new owner is responsible for the restaurant minimum due for the month the property is purchased.
Minimum Spending Usage
Any food purchases that a Member has during the current month that apply toward the food minimum will be deducted from the statement, not to exceed the accumulated amount of unspent minimum. The food purchased in the Dining Room, Grille Room or Snack Bar will apply to the Member’s minimum and appear on the statement. Tax gratuity do not count toward the minimum.
Unspent minimum
In any particular month, if a Member charges less than S60 on food, the Member will have a credit that can be used in future months. Example: In October you are billed $60 but actually spend $25 on food, your bill will show a credit of $25. The balance of the $60 minimum that was not used goes in your “bank account” and can be used at a future date. Note: All unspent minimums must be used by September 30.
Overspent minimum
If the Member’s level of spending in the restaurant meets or exceeds the S60 monthly minimum , then each month the Members statement will show a $60 minimum billing and then a $60 minimum usage credit that will zero each other out. If a Member overspends in the winter months and returns to a northern home in the summer, overspending will carry monthly until the amount overspent is used.
Statement Presentation
Currently our system will show you the amount you are overspent or underspent on the website. Your statement shows the amount left to spend for the food minimum year.
Houseguest Policy
Houseguests are allowed to use the restaurant and charge on the Golf or Social Member account. The Member must notify the Administration Office in advance with the Houseguests names and dates authorizing them to charge on the account. This is done as a courtesy to the Guest. Should it be abused, possible suspension of Member privileges could be incurred.
