Subject Cooling Water system
Issue date June '00
Cooling water additives, dosage and concentration In order to prevent corrosion in the cooling water system, the instructions of right dosage and concentration of active corrosion inhibitors should always be followed. The information can be found in the table below. Since the amount of active corrosion inhibitors, especially nitrites, is decreasing during the service of the engines, the engine manufacturer recommends the dosage to start from the upper level.
