ADVICE
Before assembling the actuator, the steps in this procedure must be scrupulously followed to ensure that the actuator works properly.
1. Clean all the parts in a solvent bath and dry them with compressed air before inspecting them. 2. Carefully check that all the critical areas have no defects in their surface finish: seal housings, bearing housings, thrust surfaces, the shaft surface, the casing’s bore and the groove teeth.

Small surface or minor scratches can be carefully polished away.
