ADVICE

Before assembling the actuator, the steps in this procedure must be scrupulously followed to ensure that the actuator works properly.

ADVICE

Small surface or minor scratches can be carefully polished away.

1. Clean all the parts in a solvent bath and dry them with compressed air before inspecting them.

2. Carefully check that all the critical areas have no defects in their surface fi nish: seal housings, bearing housings, thrust surfaces, the shaft surface, the casing’s bore and the groove teeth.
