REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS

Turbocharger Removal

1.Loosen both clamps that secure the turbocharger coolant outlet and the exhaust manifold outlet hoses to the turbo and manifold fittings. Separate both hoses from the turbo and manifold fittings. Remove the clamps for use at reassembly. 91

2.Loosen both hose clamps that secure the turbocharger coolant outlet and exhaust manifold outlet hoses to the water manifold hose fittings. Remove the now-released turbocharger and exhaust manifold coolant outlet hose from the engine. Remove the clamps for use at reassembly. 92

Repair Instructions

7.Loosen and remove the two 12-point capscrews securing the turbo oil drain tube to the turbo housing.

9.Loosen the hose clamp at the turbocharger oil drain tube connection on the oil fill tube. Remove the oil drain tube bracket connection on the cylinder block and remove the drain tube from the engine.

10.Loosen the turbocharger compressor clamp which allows the compressor to rotate. Loosen both sets of hose clamps on the turbocharger to aftercooler inlet air tube.
