2 Removal and Installation of Condenser

Warning

•The air conditioner circuit is filled with high-pressure gas. Beware of the gas that is released when loosening the pipes.

Caution •Be sure to stop the engine before beginning work.

•Wrench (13 mm, 17 mm, 19 mm, 22 mm) •Caps •Plugs •Rags •Cleaning fluid

Items to prepare

[1] Use a 17-mm wrench to fasten the pipe (1), and then use a 19-mm wrench to loosen and remove the low-pressure pipe (2). •Always remove the low-pressure pipe first. •Attach caps or plugs to the condenser and pipes to prevent the entry of water, dust or dirt. •Clean the pipes by spraying with a parts cleaner to prevent scratches and prevent dirt from accumulating on the connectors.

[2] Use a 22-mm wrench to fasten the pipe (1), and then use a 22-mm wrench to loosen and remove the high-pressure pipe (2). •The cap with "H" indicates the highpressure pipe. •Attach caps or plugs to the condenser and pipes to prevent the entry of water, dust or dirt. •Clean the pipes by spraying with a parts cleaner to prevent scratches and prevent dirt from accumulating on the connectors. 2 1

[3] Use a 13-mm wrench to remove 4 installation bolts (1), and then remove the condenser unit (3). 3
