Halting uppercarriage with the positioning slewing brake

The positioning slewing brake is used for the progressive and precise slowing down of the uppercarriage. Note! Increased wear. Do not use the positing slewing brake as a working brake, but only for special halting and parking manoeuvres of the slewing gear. The uppercarriage should normally be stopped with the hydraulic brake (joystick to stop). Operate the pedal 10. The uppercarriage is slowed down with great accuracy and stops in the desired position.

Superstructure locking
Locking of the superstructure happens automatically with the help of a hydraulic locking pin. Locking: Rotate the superstructure in the direction of travel parallel to the chassis.
