HEATERCONTROLS
1. Fan speed control
Withthe controlat ’0’,the fan is switched off and no airwillenterthe vehicle through the heatervents.Withthe control moved downwardsto the firstposition, the volumeof airenteringthe passenger compartmentis solelydependentupon the rameffectof the vehiclemovingthrough the air.The subsequentpositionsoperate the fan at speeds’1’and ’2’respectively.
2. Temperaturecontrol
Move the leverdownwards(towardsthe
REDsegment)to increaseairtemperature, or upwards(towardsthe BLUE segment) to reduceairtemperature. 3. Air distributioncontrol • Leverfullyup - windscreenventsonly. • Levermidway- foot leveland windscreen vents. • Leverfullydown - foot levelvents(also providessome airto the windscreen).

The followingexamplesof basicheater settingsareintendedas a generalguide; the airdistribution, temperatureand blower controlscan then be furtheradjustedto suit your comfortrequirements. Alwaysrememberthat fullheatingis not availableuntilthe enginehas reachedits normaloperatingtemperature.
Maximum heating • Temperaturecontrol- fullydown. • Distributioncontrol- midway. • Fan speedcontrol- fullydown. • Freshairvents- fullyclosed. Demistingand defrosting • Temperaturecontrol- fullydown. • Distributioncontrol- fullyup. • Fan speedcontrol- fullydown. • Freshairvents- fullyopen for demisting (closedfor defrosting). • Openinga window may improve ventilation.
