Sunroof

SUNROOF (iffitted) The sunroofcan be opened or, if required,can be removedcompletely.

To OPENthe roof: Turn the hand wheelcounter-clockwiseto give the desiredopening.

NOTE: A partiallyopen sunroofmay vibrate due to aerodynamicpressures.Adjustthe sunroofapertureto reducevibration. To CLOSE the roof: Turn the hand wheelclockwiseuntilresistance is felt. WARNING DONOTstorethe sunroofloose in the vehicle. DONOTallow passengersto extend any part of their bodies through the sunroofwhile the vehicleis moving. DONOTremovethe sunroofwhilst the vehicleis moving.

Refitthe sunroofby followingthe same procedurein reverse.

To REMOVEthe roof: Openthe sunrooffullyand push the catch(1) rearwardsto disengagethe hand wheel mechanism. Removethe sunroofby tiltingupwardsand liftingrearwardsto disengagethe locating lugs.
