IV.PRECAUTIONS FOR RE-ASSEMBLY
(1)When replacing the shaft seals of the rotation parts of the final case and wheel shaft, never hit the surface of the flange of the sleeve. Damaged flange surfaces will cause oil leaks.
(2)When sub-assembling the differential, insert the spring pin so as for the seal to turn in the direction of external force applied. After inserting the spring pin, retain it with wire.
Seam of roll pin should face in direction in which load is applied.
Apply grease.
Apply grease. Apply adhesive: Three Bond 1901. Never fail to install the snap ring.

Apply grease; Install oil seal in right direction.

Pinion gear should turn smoothly: backlash: 0.1 –0.3 mm
Maximum steered tyre angles: 55 0 -1 °
Apply adhesive: Three Bond 1901. Apply adhesive: Three Bond 1901. Apply grease to O-ring and install it on final case ahead of time. Then install final case on axle housing. Apply grease to bore surface of sleeve ahead of time. Then press in sleeve using a jig avoiding damage or deformation.
Pinion should turn smoothly. Apply adhesive: Three Bond 1208E or Chemiseal 1000HM.
• Each sub-assembled gear should turn smoothly without hitch by hand.
• Sub-assembled wheel shafts should turn smoothly.
Bevel gear should turn smoothly: backlash: 0.15 –0.25 mm

Apply adhesive: Three Bond 1208E or Chemiseal 1000HM. Apply adhesive: Three Bond 1208E or Chemiseal 1000HM to contact surfaces.
