IV.FRONT TRANSMISSION AND CLUTCH

1.DISASSEMBLY

(1)Remove the transmission assembly from the tractor.

(2)Remove the front transmission cover referring to the figure above.

2.INSPECTION

2.1.MAIN CLUTCH

a.Case assembly

–Replace the case assembly if it has a damaged or worn friction surface.

–If there is any damage to the case assembly and the piston seal ring, these parts should also be replaced.

b.Friction plates

–Inspection for disc thickness and serration wear

c.Separator plates

–Inspection for deformation and burning

–A seriously damaged or worn disc should be replaced with a new one.
