Measurement and control Compression check Test conditions :
– Disconnect the common rail pressure sensor.
– Remove the glow plugs.
– Run the engine for 10 to 15 seconds using the starter.
– Fit an M10 x 1,0 appropriate adapter with the threading sealing compound.
– Compare the measurements on all cylinders.
– Fit the compression gauge onto the adapter.
Maximum difference between the cylinders: 3,5 bars.
