Important: First check the mechanical adjustment of the pedal and low position contact.

– Adjust the position of the "BOC Z152" contact: distance between the contact and pedal 2,5 mm.

• Adjust the (A) rod to 60,5mm between the ball joint axes.

– Press the clutch pedal to check that a 1 ± 0,1 voltage appears on the potentiometer when the "BOC" contact opens.

• Set the "R73" angular detector to ensure the setting ports are at mid-travel.

• Using "CLAAS Diagnostic system (CDS)" or a multimeter and harness Nr.60 0500 573 4, check that: – The voltage value on the lower end stop is 0,5 ± 0,1 V. – The voltage value on the upper end stop is 4,5 ± 0,1V. • Adjustment of clutch clearance: – Set the pedal to lower stop.

"Revershift" calibration Calibration must be performed if the temperature of the transmission oil ranges between 15°C and 60°C. – Start the tractor on a hard, flat and sufficiently open ground.

– Adjust the engine speed to 1 500 rev/min.

– Maintain the reverter handle in the raised position while contacting the 4-wheel drive command (for at least 2 seconds).

On the transmission display of the instrument panel: – If the arrow indicating forward driving does not blink, return the handle to the neutral position.

– If the arrow (1) indicating forward driving blinks, set the reverter handle to the forward or reverse position.

Calibration of the 2 clutches starts (5 to 6 minutes).

Note: During the calibration, the forward drive arrow (1) blinks on the transmission display of the instrument panel.

When the blinking neutral indication (2) is added between the 2 forward and reverse arrows, calibration is complete.

– Return the reverter handle to neutral, reduce the engine speed to idle, then switch off the ignition for 30 seconds. The new parameters will then be considered.

Arion 400 - Without "C.I.S."

Manual progressivity adjustment is performed using the "C.I.S." in the transmission menu.

Manual progressivity adjustment cannot be performed.

Checking the rating pressure of the accumulators Test conditions: – Build up the temperature of the hydraulic circuit at 60°C. – Disconnect the accumulator to discharge it hydraulically.

Checking the nirogen load – Connect tester n°60 0570 630 6 onto the nitrogen chamber of the accumulator.

The pressure should be 11 bar.

Hydraulic control – Remove the accumulators and connect them one after the other to a manual hydraulic pump fitted with a pressure gauge.

– Load in pressure up to 25 bars.

– Open the tap to create a 2 bar leak.

– Close immediately.

The accumulator must compensate the pressure drop, by reducing pressure on the pressure gauge to its initial position.

Checking the lubrication flow of the "Revershift" clutch and the "Quadrishift" set Test conditions: – Engine running at 2 200 rpm.

– Transmission oil temperature: 60°C. – Transmission engaged (tractor made safe on stands).

– No actuator activated (spool valves, steeering, PTO, etc.).

– Remove the tubing (1) between the lubrication leader and the elbow.

– Connect the tester of the kit n°00 0178 310 0 and n°00 0178 320 0.

Checking the lubrication flow of the lower shaft ranges and reverse transmission shaft Test conditions: – Engine running at 2 200 rpm.

– Transmission oil temperature: 60°C. – Transmission engaged (tractor made safe on stands).

– No actuator activated (spool valves, steeering, PTO, etc.).

– Loosen the tubings on the lubrication leader.

– Turn the elbow downwards to facilitate the connection of the tester.

– Connect the tester of the kit n°00 0178 310 0 and n°00 0178 320 0 between the leader and the lubrication elbow.

Checking the lubrication flow of the upper range shaft and forward drive clutch Test conditions: – Engine running at 2 200 rpm.

– Transmission oil temperature: 60°C. – Transmission engaged (tractor made safe on stands).

– No actuator activated (spool valves, steeering, PTO, etc.).

– Remove the tubing (1) between the lubrication leader and the tee.

– Connect the tester of the kit n°00 0178 310 0 and n°00 0178 320 0.
