15.18 Automatic lift cut-out at required lifting height As an option, lifting can be interrupted at a certain height. This option is used to make sure that the operator remembers to watch out for any lower-than-normal ceilings on the route. When automatic lift cut-out is in use, the lifting is interrupted at the defined height even though the lifting control is held down. To reactivate lifting, the user must first release the lifting control and then re-activate lifting. Automatic lift-cut-out, compulsory lowering of the side stabilizers and driving speed reduction and are all controlled by one sensor.

NOTE: If the truck has the automatic lift cut-out at required lifting height option in use, the compulsory lowering of side stabilizers option cannot be used and vice versa. Only one of these options can be active at a time.

15.18.1 Activating automatic lift cut-out at required lifting height If the truck is equipped with a mast unit other than an integral triplex mast, activate automatic lift cut-out as follows: 1. Install the sensor to the mast unit. For instructions, see section 15.16.2.1. 2. Set the parameter AUX INPUT #6 to 2. 3. Set the parameter HEIGHT ENC LIMIT according to the desired height where the lifting is interrupted and the side stabilizers have to be lowered to continue lifting, see Table 27. If the truck is equipped with an integral triplex mast, the automatic lift cut-out is handled with the height reference sensor, see section 8.6.3. To activate automatic lift-cut-out, set the parameter HEIGHT ENC LIMIT according to the desired height where the lifting is interrupted, see Table 26. To disable automatic lift cut-out, set the parameter to a value higher than that of TOP ABS HEIGHT. Table 27. HEIGHT ENC LIMIT values VALUE
