Pressure limiter adjustment

To adjust the pressure limiter (Fig. 67).

1. Locate the pressure limiters on the bottom of the valve bank under the handle

2. Refer to the hydraulic schematic to determine which pressure limiter, A or B, needs adjusted. To determine the pressure limiter setting, bottom out the cylinder (fully extend or retract). The system pressure gauge will read the function pressure.

IMPORTANT! To determine the pressure limiter settings on the tram sections, the feeder breaker will have to be safely stalled out by deadheading into the rib in both directions or by plugging and capping both A and B ports.

3. If an adjustment is need, remove the cap over the adjustment stem.

4. Loosen the hex nut that holds the adjustment stem in place.

5. Turn the adjustment stem clockwise (in) to increase pressure or counterclockwise (out) to decrease pressure setting.

6. Once the desired pressure is obtained, tighten the hex nut while holding the adjustment stem in place.

7. Replace the cap over the adjustment stem.

8. Retest the function to ensure the pressure adjustment was not changed while tightening the hex nut. If necessary, repeat adjustment.
