OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Ventilation and air conditioning • Operate the conditioner by turning knob (8). • Turn knob for temperature adjustment (6) to the min. position (fully clockwise). • Open lower vent (3). • Turn knob (7) clockwise (fan max. position).
NOTE: Using this function for a long period of time may cause the inner cab windows to become slightly cloudy. To solve this problem, simply close the defroster vent (5) by hand.
NOTE: If you wish to change cab temperature, use the temperature adjustment knob and fan speed knob.
If windows become cloudy: If inner cab windows become cloudy during rainy days or in very humid conditions, use the air conditioner to reduce humidity level in the cab. When atmosphere is very damp and the air conditioner has run excessively, outer windows may become clouded. If this happens, switch off the air conditioner to balance outside and inside temperature. Maintenance: Check the air conditioner filter periodically. To protect compressor parts against lack of lubricant when the machine remains unused (such as in winter), run the air conditioner for some minutes at least once per month with the engine at low idle.
Defrosting • Operate the conditioner by turning knob (8). • Turn knob for temperature adjustment (6) to the max. position (fully counterclockwise). • Orient the front vent (2) and defroster vent (5) louvers to direct the air flow towards the area desired. • Close lower vent (3). • Turn knob (7) clockwise (fan max. position).
NOTE: If you wish to change cab temperature, use the temperature adjustment knob and fan speed knob.

TIPS FOR OPTIMUM USE OF THE CONDITIONER

Fast cooling When the machine is exposed to sunlight for a prolonged period of time, cab temperature can rise very high. For fast cooling, open the side windows and door while ventilating cab inside. After starting the engine: • turn knob (7) clockwise (fan max. position); • turn knob for temperature adjustment (6) to the min. (fully clockwise); ; • activate the conditioner by turning knob (8) • close cab windows and door.
