WARNING

Park the machine on firm and if possible level ground. Always lower the bucket safely onto the ground before stopping the engine.

NOTE: in case of emergency, when the engine stops and cannot be restarted, refer to the “EMERGENCY BOOM LOWERING PROCEDURE” described in this chapter to lower the boom and lay the bucket to the ground.

• Park the machine on a firm and if possible level ground.

• Lower the bucket safely onto the ground.

• Disengage the auto-idle and turn the engine speed hand control (1) fully anticlockwise (minimum engine rpm).

• Move the starter switch key (2) to the OFF position.

• Remove the key from the starter switch.

• Move the safety lever (1) to the vertical LOCK position.
