Fuel requirement

Diesel

The quality fuel used is important factor in obtaining dependable performance and satisfactory engine life. Fuels must clean, well refined, and non - corrosive fuel system parts. Be sure use fuel a known quality from a reputable supplier . NOTICE: Diesel approved for your engine must comply with the Specification Standard EN 590 (or equivalent).

Be aware that use Diesel not complying with the above mentioned Specification Standard could lead severe damage the engine and the fuel system. Be aware that the use non approved fuel may void the W arranty cover .

Use Number 2- D in temperatures above -7 °C ( °F ). Use Number 1- D in temperatures below -7 °C ( °F ). To obtain optimum combustion and minimum engine wear , the fuel selected for use should conform the application and property requirements outlined in the following ‘Diesel Fuel Selection Chart’.

* When continually operating low temperatures high altitude, a minimum cetane rating is required.

NOTE: When long periods idling cold weather conditions below 0 °C ( °F ) are encountered when continuously operating altitude above 1500 m ( 4921 ) use Number 1- D fuel.

The use diesel fuel with a sulphur content above 5 / requires more frequent oil changes noted in the maintenance schedule. Refer the info starting page 7.
