FUEL TANK FILLER PUMP

FUEL TANK FILLER PUMP (optional)

WARNING: Never refuel when the engine is running. Never smoke while refuelling.

IMPORTANT: This pump is located in the upperstructure tool box and should only be used for fuel.

STEP 1

Park the machine on flat, level ground. Stop the engine and remove the starter switch key.

PE11716 Remove the filler cap from the fuel tank.

WARNING: The filler cap must be removed before filling the tank. This will prevent the risk of accidents when opening the filler cap after filling.

PDF0361 Measure the height of the drum and place the suction tube sight ring (1) at a height slightly lower than that of the drum.

STEP 4

PDF0362 Make sure that the screen on the end of the suction tube is correctly attached, and then lower the suction tube into the drum.

CD96H017 Press the green starter button (1) on the pump. Filling will begin. NOTE: Filling can be interrupted at any time for any reason (an empty drum, for example) by pressing the red button (2) on the pump.

STEP 6

The pump will stop filling automatically when the fuel tank is full.

STEP 7

Put the suction tube back in the tool box.

PE11716 Put the filler cap back on the fuel tank. NOTE: When installing the cap, make sure it is correctly positioned in the locking tabs. See “Installing the fuel tank cap” in the “Operating Instructions” Section.
