28. HYDRAULIC SYSTEM - Change oil
WARNING
Fluid under pressure: turn cap slowly to relieve pressure before removing it.
AVOID POLLUTING THE ENVIRONMENT. Dispose of batteries, lubricating, cooling and hydraulic fluids, filter elements or cleaning rags impregnated with these fluids in accordance with national and local regulations, classifying these materials as polluting, hazardous or dangerous.
Never use gasoline, solvents or other inflammable fluids to clean parts. Use approved commercial solvents which are non-flammable and atoxic.
Drainage - Position machine level, with attachments flat on the ground; - remove filler plug and unscrew plug T to drain oil from the tank; Wash plug T and magnetic rod Z with appropriate solvent.
Wash with solvent, and if necessary, change suction filter F, located in correspondence with the flange connecting the oil suction piping (front right side of reservoir). To perform this operation, it is necessary to tilit the cab.

WARNING
Prior to starting the engine, warn all people who may be servicing or working around machine
Do not run the engine of this machine in closed areas without proper ventilation to remove deadly exhaust fumes.
Start the engine; lift and lower the blade (and ripper frame, if any) several times to fill the cylinders and lines. Add oil in tank, repeatedly. Place the machine on level ground. With blade (and ripper) on ground, engine idling, oil cold, check oil level is between HIGH gauge A and LOW gauge B; make up oil level if necessary.

29. RADIATOR - Change coolant
WARNING
Fluid under pressure: turn cap slowly to relieve pressure before removing or until pressure has been relieved as coolant may boil over and cause personal injury.
WARNING
Be careful when operating with the cowling open and hot engine to avoid eventual burns.
Replace coolant proceeding as follows: -with engine cold, drain coolant from engine by unscrewing plug A (remove filler cap for faster draining); -re-install plug A;
-pour coolant into radiator through filler neck to fill up the system; -refit the radiator plug; -start engine and let it run for a few minutes; -let engine cool, then top up coolant level through radiator filler.

Note – If cooling system is provided with plain water instead of coolant (having antioxidant, antifouling, rust preventive properties) flush system as follows. -Dilute "Radiator flushing solution" in water in the proportion labelled on container. Pour solution in radiator with cold engine. -Work machine at high revs until engine is warm. -Stop engine and drain flushing solution. -Let engine cool, then run water through radiator filler neck and let it drain from bottom of radiator.
