9. FUEL FILTERS -
Draining condensation
Open the upper left engine compartment panel, drain the water and sediments from the fuel filter through the draining valve indicated. With engine inoperative, loosen the valve located below the filter about 4 full turns and move it downward about 2 cm. Drain eventual water and sediments until clean fuel only, flows-out. Move the valve upward and tighten it, without over tightenin.
Note – The draining interval can be increased or decreased, as a function of the presence of water and the quantity of fuel. Loosen the screw located on the head of the filter support using a 30 mm socket and hold the filter canister with the handle indicated. Before installing a new filter, clean the support and canister, change the gaskets and lubricate them with engine oil, before installing the filter on the support. Tighten to a torque of 13.5 - 15 daNm.

Replace the engine oil filter proceeding as follows: -clean the filter supporting area and loosen it; -fill the new filter with fresh oil and lubricate the relevant gasket; -tighten the filter manually. After the gasket contacts its seating face on the engine block, tighten further 3/4 turn. The replacement of the filter must be performed at the prescribed interval, since, in case of clogging, the oil circulated would not be filtered any more. T. Engine oil draining plug T

AVOID POLLUTING THE ENVIRONMENT. Dispose of batteries, lubricating, cooling and hydraulic fluids, filter elements or cleaning rags impregnated with these fluids in accordance with national and local regulations, classifying these materials as polluting, hazardous or dangerous.
Check that the oil level is between sight gauges A (MAX) and B (MIN). This check to be performed with machine on level, blade on ground, oil cold and engine running at low idle. If required, add oil through filler plug D.
WARNING
Fluid under pressure: turn cap slowly to relieve pressure before removing it.
Never use gasoline, solvents or other inflammable fluids to clean parts. Use approved commercial solvents which are non-flammable and atoxic.
Proceed as follows: -clean the filter cover L and the surrounding area; -take off cover L, remove element F on the return line and replace it with a new one; -re-install cover L.
